Made with a buttery Oreo crust and a rich, silky chocolate filling, this dessert delivers deep chocolate flavor without ever turning on the oven. A touch of espresso powder enhances the cocoa notes, while the light, whipped texture keeps each bite smooth and luxurious—not overly heavy.

Ingredients

Oreo Crust

  • 32 Oreo cookies
  • ½ cup butter, melted

Chocolate Filling

Melt Together:

  • 8.1 oz dark chocolate (chopped)
  • 5.2 oz heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Whipped Cream Topping

  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Make the Crust:
Pulse the Oreo cookies in a food processor until fine crumbs form. If needed, place cookies in a zip-top bag and crush with a cup.

Press firmly into the bottom and sides of a greased 9-inch pie pan.
Freeze for at least 20 minutes to set.
  2. Prepare the Chocolate Base:
In a heatproof bowl, combine dark chocolate, heavy cream, vanilla, salt, and espresso powder.
Melt gently in the microwave or over a double boiler, stirring until smooth.
    Let cool completely.
  3. Whip the Filling:
In a large bowl, add cold heavy cream, instant pudding mix, cocoa powder (sifted), and sugar.
Beat with an electric mixer until stiff peaks form.
  4. Combine:
Add the cooled chocolate mixture to the whipped mixture.
Mix briefly with the electric mixer, then gently fold with a spatula until smooth and fully combined.
  5. Assemble:
Pour the chocolate filling into the chilled Oreo crust and smooth the top.
Refrigerate for at least 5 hours, or overnight, until fully set.
  6. Top & Serve:
