  • 3 pieces ripe bananas Use very ripe bananas for the best sweetness and flavor.
  • 120 grams creamy peanut butter Crunchy peanut butter can be used for added texture.
  • 50 grams cocoa powder Sift the cocoa powder for a smoother batter.

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F). Line a 15 cm x 15 cm (7 inch x 7 inch) brownie pan with parchment paper.
  • In a large bowl, mash the 3 ripe bananas until they are completely smooth.
  • Add the peanut butter to the mashed bananas and stir until you have a smooth mixture.
  • Sift in the cocoa powder and mix well.

Baking

  • Transfer the brownie mixture into the prepared pan.
  • Bake in the hot oven for 22 to 30 minutes, checking at the 22-minute mark.
  • Let the brownies cool completely at room temperature before slicing.

Notes

These brownies can be served warm with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to three days, or freeze for longer storage. Experiment with adding chopped nuts or chocolate chips for texture.
