  • 4 large large flour tortillas Use whole wheat, corn, or gluten-free tortillas if desired.
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese Feel free to mix different cheeses like cheddar or pepper jack.
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried parsley For garnish.
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder For additional garlic flavor.
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Preparation

  • Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a small bowl, mix the melted butter, minced garlic, garlic powder, and salt.
  • Brush the butter mixture evenly over one side of each tortilla.
  • Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella and grated Parmesan cheese evenly over the buttered side of the tortillas.

Cooking

  • Place the tortillas in the air fryer basket, cheese side up, in a single layer. You may need to cook them in batches.
  • Air fry for 3-5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly, and the edges are golden brown.
  • Remove the tortillas from the air fryer and sprinkle with dried parsley.
  • Cut into wedges and serve immediately.

Notes

You can serve this dish warm as a side with soups or salads. Pair it with marinara sauce or your favorite dipping sauce for extra flavor. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat in the air fryer for a few minutes to crisp them back up.
