Ingredients
  

  • 1 box 16 oz saltine crackers (about 4 sleeves)
  • 1 cup canola oil or vegetable oil
  • 1 packet ranch dressing mix about 1 oz
  • 1 –1.5 tablespoons crushed red pepper flakes adjust to heat level
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika optional, for color and depth

Instructions
 

Step 1: Make the Spice Mix

  • In a bowl, whisk together the oil, ranch seasoning mix, crushed red pepper flakes, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika until fully combined.

Step 2: Add Crackers

  • Place all the saltine crackers into a large zip-top bag or airtight container.

Step 3: Pour & Coat

  • Pour the spice-and-oil mixture over the crackers. Seal the bag and gently flip or shake to evenly coat all the crackers.

Step 4: Let Them Soak

  • Lay the bag flat and let the crackers soak up the flavor for at least 8 hours, flipping the bag every couple of hours. For best results, marinate overnight.

Step 5 (Optional): Bake for Extra Crunch

  • Preheat the oven to 250°F (120°C). Spread the crackers on a baking sheet in a single layer and bake for 15–20 minutes. Let them cool completely.

Step 6: Serve or Store

  • Once cool, serve immediately or store in an airtight container for up to 1 week. Perfect with dips, soups, or cheese platters!
