  • 0.5 tsp salt

Wet Ingredients

  • 1 cup apple cider Homemade apple cider works perfectly.
  • 0.5 cup granulated sugar
  • 0.5 cup brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 0.5 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a bundt pan.
  • In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
  • In another bowl, mix the apple cider, granulated sugar, brown sugar, eggs, vegetable oil, and vanilla.
  • Gradually combine the dry ingredients with the wet ingredients until just blended.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared bundt pan.

Baking

  • Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  • Allow to cool slightly, then remove from the pan and let cool completely on a wire rack.
  • Dust with powdered sugar if desired.

Notes

Store wrapped tightly in plastic wrap at room temperature for about 3 days, refrigerated for up to a week, or frozen for up to 3 months. Consider adding chopped apples for a stronger flavor. For a crunchy texture, add a crumb topping or make muffins instead.
