Banana Snickers are a fun and tasty treat combining banana, chocolate, and peanut butter for a healthier dessert option.

Ingredients
  

For the filling

  • 1 ripe ripe banana Make sure it's ripe for best sweetness.
  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter Can substitute with almond or cashew butter.
  • 1/4 cup roasted peanuts Can use salted or unsalted for crunch.

For the coating

  • 1.5 cups chocolate (melted) Use milk or dark chocolate based on preference.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Melt the chocolate in the microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth. Add coconut oil if too thick.
  • In a silicon mold, pour about 1-2 teaspoons of melted chocolate to cover the bottom.
  • Layer thin slices of the banana on top of the chocolate.
  • Add a dollop of peanut butter on top of the banana.
  • Sprinkle the roasted peanuts on the peanut butter and gently press them in.
  • Cover the layered ingredients with more melted chocolate.

Freezing

  • Place the mold in the freezer until firm, about 1-2 hours.

Serving

  • Once firm, remove the Banana Snickers from the silicone molds and enjoy!

Notes

Store in an airtight container in the freezer for about a month. Let them sit outside for a few minutes before eating for easier handling.
