Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef Lean ground beef is preferred.
  • 1 packet onion soup mix For seasoning the beef.
  • 4 large tortillas Use flour or whole wheat tortillas.
  • 4 slices cheddar cheese You can substitute with a lighter cheese.
  • 1 cup lettuce, shredded Romaine or iceberg work well.
  • 1/2 cup pickles, sliced Dill pickles are recommended.

Special Sauce

  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons mustard
  • 1 teaspoon white vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder

Preparation

  • In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat.
  • Stir in the onion soup mix and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  • In a bowl, combine mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, vinegar, garlic powder, and onion powder to create the special sauce.

Assembly

  • Lay a tortilla flat and add a portion of cooked beef, a slice of cheddar cheese, shredded lettuce, and pickles on top.
  • Drizzle some of the special sauce over the ingredients.
  • Roll the tortilla tightly to enclose the filling, folding in the sides to secure it.
  • Repeat with remaining tortillas and ingredients.

Notes

For extra crunch, add diced tomatoes or onions to the filling. Make sure to drain excess fat from the beef to keep the wraps from getting soggy.
