  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 red bell pepper, chopped
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tsp Cajun seasoning Adjust based on heat preference

  • In a large skillet, heat a little oil over medium heat.
  • Add the chopped onion, garlic, and red bell pepper, and cook until softened.
  • Add the ground chicken and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spoon.
  • Stir in the ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  • Simmer for about 5-10 minutes until everything is heated through and well combined.
  • Toast the burger buns lightly, then spoon the Cajun chicken mixture onto the buns.
  • Serve with rice or fries, if desired.

Notes

Spoon a generous portion onto a bun for the best flavor. Add pickles or sliced avocado for contrast. Store leftover filling in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 3 months.
