Brownie Base

  • 1 package brownie mix (use the additional ingredients as directed on the package)

Cheesecake Filling

  • 24 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce (plus extra for drizzling on top)

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Grease a 9-inch springform pan.
  • Prepare brownie mix as per package instructions, pour into the prepared pan, and bake.
  • Allow the brownie base to cool completely.
  • Reduce oven temperature to 325°F (160°C).
  • In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese and sugar until smooth.
  • Add vanilla, eggs, sour cream, and heavy cream, blending until smooth.

Baking

  • Pour cheesecake batter over the cooled brownie base and drizzle with caramel sauce.
  • Swirl the caramel into the cheesecake batter gently.
  • Bake for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
  • Turn off the oven and allow cheesecake to cool inside.
  • Cool to room temperature and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.

Serving

  • Garnish with whipped cream, caramel sauce, and chocolate shavings before serving.

Notes

Ensure cream cheese is softened before mixing to prevent lumps. Chill cheesecake thoroughly for best texture. Optionally, add a chocolate ganache layer for extra richness.
