  • 1 large large egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 125 g all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 tsp baking soda
  • 100 g cream cheese Make sure it is at room temperature for easier mixing.
  • 100 g caramel sauce You can use homemade or store-bought.
  • 50 g sugar
  • a pinch salt

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese and sugar together until smooth.
  • Add the egg and vanilla extract to the mixture and mix until well combined.
  • In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture until combined.
  • Fold in the caramel sauce gently.
  • Drop spoonfuls of the dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
  • Allow to cool before serving.

Notes

Serve these cookies warm or at room temperature. Pair them with vanilla ice cream or drizzle with caramel sauce for added sweetness. Store in an airtight container for up to three days at room temperature or refrigerate for a week.
