  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • 4 slices cheddar cheese Can experiment with different types of cheese.
  • 4 pieces hamburger buns
  • Lettuce, tomato, pickles, and other preferred toppings Add as desired.

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a bowl, combine ground beef, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  • Form the beef mixture into patties, making a small indentation in the center of each patty.
  • Place a slice of cheddar cheese in the center, then form the beef over the cheese to enclose it.

Cooking

  • Cook the patties on a grill or stovetop until they reach your desired doneness, about 4-5 minutes per side.
  • While the patties are cooking, toast the hamburger buns.

Assembly

  • Assemble the burgers by placing the patty on a bun and adding lettuce, tomato, pickles, and any other toppings.

Notes

If you have leftovers, let the burgers cool down first. Place them in an airtight container and store them in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven or microwave.
