  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded Rotisserie chicken works well.
  • 6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled Ensure bacon is crispy for best texture.
  • 1/2 cup ranch dressing Adjust quantity to avoid sogginess.
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup For brushing on top.
  • 6 slices cheese slices Optional, choose your favorite type like provolone or cheddar.
  • 2 tablespoons green onions, chopped For garnish.

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Slice the King's Hawaiian rolls in half and place the bottom half in a baking dish.
  • In a bowl, mix together the shredded chicken, crumbled bacon, and ranch dressing.
  • Spread the chicken and bacon mixture evenly over the bottom half of the rolls.
  • If using, place cheese slices on top.
  • Place the top half of the rolls on, then brush with maple syrup.

Baking

  • Cover the dish with foil and bake for 15 minutes.
  • Remove the foil and bake for an additional 5–10 minutes, until the tops are golden.
  • Garnish with chopped green onions, slice, and serve.

Notes

Store leftovers wrapped tightly in foil or an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven or microwave as needed.
