  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 packet active dry yeast
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup milk, warmed Make sure it is warm, not hot.
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1 large egg

Filling Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • 1 cup crushed chocolate cookies You can use any type of chocolate cookies.
  • 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips

Topping Ingredients

  • Cream cheese icing For topping.
  • Extra cookie crumbles For garnish.

Preparation

  • In a bowl, combine warm milk and yeast. Let it sit until foamy.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, and salt.
  • Add melted butter, egg, and the yeast mixture. Mix until a dough forms.
  • Knead the dough for about 5 minutes until smooth.
  • Let the dough rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.

Rolling and Baking

  • Roll out the dough into a rectangle.
  • Spread melted butter over the dough and sprinkle cinnamon, crushed cookies, and mini chocolate chips evenly.
  • Roll the dough tightly and slice it into rolls.
  • Place the rolls in a baking dish and let them rise for another 30 minutes.
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake the rolls for 20-25 minutes until golden.

Serving

  • Let cool slightly, then drizzle with cream cheese icing and sprinkle extra cookie crumbles on top before serving.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days. For longer storage, wrap tightly in plastic wrap and refrigerate for up to a week or freeze for up to 3 months. Reheat before serving for the best taste.
