Ingredients

Ice Cream Base

  • 1 quart Vanilla ice cream (or any flavor you prefer) Use your favorite ice cream flavor.

Chocolate Coating

  • 8 oz Melting chocolate (milk, dark, or white) Melt according to package instructions.

Toppings

  • 1/2 cup Crushed nuts Optional for added texture.
  • 1/2 cup Crushed cookies Use your favorite cookies.
  • 1/4 cup Sprinkles Colorful sprinkles for decoration.
  • 8 pieces Popsicle sticks For holding the bars.

Instructions

Preparation

  • Scoop the vanilla ice cream into a rectangular dish or silicone mold, pressing it down to create an even layer.
  • Insert popsicle sticks into the ice cream and freeze for at least 4 hours, or until solid.

Melting Chocolate

  • In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the chocolate according to package instructions, stirring until smooth.

Dipping and Topping

  • Once the ice cream is fully frozen, remove it from the freezer and cut it into bars or remove them from the mold.
  • Dip each bar into the melted chocolate, allowing any excess to drip off.
  • While the chocolate is still wet, sprinkle the crushed nuts, crushed cookies, or sprinkles over the bars.

Setting

  • Place the coated bars back on a parchment-lined baking sheet and return them to the freezer for about 30 minutes to set the chocolate.

Notes

Wrap each bar in plastic wrap or store in an airtight container with parchment between layers. Keep in the coldest part of the freezer for up to 2 weeks. Work quickly when dipping to prevent melting.
