Ingredients
  

Dough Ingredients

  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 large eggs

Coating and Dipping

  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • Oil for frying Use canola or vegetable oil.
  • Nutella for dipping

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a saucepan, combine the water and butter. Bring to a boil.
  • Stir in the flour and salt until a ball forms.
  • Remove from heat; beat in the eggs one at a time.

Cooking

  • Heat oil in a deep fryer or large skillet.
  • Use a piping bag to squeeze out small rounds of dough into the hot oil.
  • Fry until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes on each side.

Coating

  • In a bowl, mix sugar and cinnamon.
  • Roll churros in the cinnamon sugar mix.

Serving

  • Serve warm with Nutella for dipping.

Notes

Make sure the oil is hot enough before frying to ensure crispy churros. You can experiment with different dipping sauces if you want to switch things up from Nutella.
