Ingredients
  

Cookie Dough

  • 1 cup cream cheese Softened
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter Softened
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Coating

  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar For coating
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon sugar For coating

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, sugar, and softened butter until smooth.
  • Gradually add the flour, baking powder, cinnamon, vanilla extract, and salt, mixing until just combined.
  • Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of the dough and place them on the prepared baking sheet, spacing them evenly.

Baking

  • Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the edges are golden brown.
  • Let the cookies cool for a few minutes, then roll them in a mixture of powdered sugar and cinnamon sugar.
  • Allow to cool completely before serving.

Notes

Make sure the butter is softened for easy mixing. Don't over-mix the dough; combine just until ingredients are visible. Use fresh cinnamon for the best flavor. You can use a cookie scoop for even portioning. Store in an airtight container for up to 5 days or freeze for up to 2 months.
