Ingredients
  

Dry Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Wet Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened Use softened, not melted.
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened Use softened, not melted.
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract

For Rolling

  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup sugar For rolling the cookie dough balls.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  • In a separate large bowl, beat the butter, cream cheese, granulated sugar, and brown sugar together until smooth.
  • Add the egg and vanilla extract, mixing until combined.
  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  • In a small bowl, mix the cinnamon and sugar for rolling.
  • Scoop dough balls and roll them in the cinnamon sugar mixture.
  • Place the cookies on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, spacing them apart.

Baking

  • Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden.
  • Allow to cool before serving.

Notes

To keep them soft, store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days. For longer storage, freeze in a sealed freezer bag for up to 3 months. Thaw at room temperature.
