Dough Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1 large egg
  • Blue drops food coloring Adjust to desired color intensity.

Filling Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • Crushed Oreos as needed For topping and filling.
  • Cream cheese for glazing To drizzle over the rolls.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large bowl, mix the flour, sugar, salt, and baking powder.
  • In another bowl, combine the milk, melted butter, egg, and a few drops of blue food coloring.
  • Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, mixing until a soft dough forms.
  • Roll out the dough on a floured surface into a rectangle.
  • Mix the cinnamon and brown sugar, and spread over the rolled dough.
  • Sprinkle crushed Oreos over the cinnamon mixture.
  • Roll the dough tightly and cut into slices.
  • Place rolls in a greased baking dish and let them rise for 30 minutes.

Baking

  • Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until golden.
  • Prepare cream cheese glaze and drizzle over the rolls before serving.

Notes

Serve warm, drizzled with cream cheese glaze. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to three days or freeze for a month.
