  • 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
  • 1 can (10.5 ounce) cream of chicken soup
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil Optional for searing

Preparation

  • If desired, sear the chicken breasts in a skillet with olive oil for a few minutes to enhance flavor.
  • Place the chicken in your slow cooker.
  • In a separate bowl, mix the cream of chicken soup, ranch seasoning, chicken broth, sour cream, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper until smooth.
  • Pour the sauce over the chicken in the CrockPot and stir gently to coat.

Cooking

  • Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours or on high for 2-3 hours, until the chicken is fully cooked and shreds easily with a fork.

Serving

  • Optionally top with shredded cheddar cheese and chopped parsley before serving.
  • Serve warm with rice, mashed potatoes, or a fresh salad.

Notes

Consider adding diced onions or bell peppers for extra flavor. Searing the chicken is optional but recommended. Customize the sauce with spices like paprika or cayenne for a kick.
