Ingredients
  

For the crust

  • 1.5 cups graham cracker crumbs Make sure to use finely crushed crumbs.
  • 0.5 cups unsalted butter, melted Adds richness to the crust.

For the cheesecake filling

  • 2 cups cream cheese, softened Ensure it's at room temperature for easier mixing.
  • 1 cups granulated sugar Sweetens the filling.
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract Adds flavor.
  • 3 large eggs Incorporate one at a time.
  • 1 cups heavy cream Makes the filling rich and creamy.

For the topping

  • 0.25 cups brown sugar Used for caramelizing on top before serving.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 325°F (163°C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking pan.
  • In a bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs and melted butter; press into the bottom of the prepared pan to form a crust.

Making the filling

  • In a large mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese and granulated sugar until smooth.
  • Add vanilla extract and mix well.
  • Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  • Then add heavy cream and continue to mix until well combined.
  • Pour the cheesecake filling over the crust.

Baking

  • Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until set.

Cooling & Caramelizing

  • Once cooled, refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  • Before serving, sprinkle brown sugar on top and use a kitchen torch to caramelize until golden brown.

Notes

For added elegance, serve with fresh berries or a drizzle of chocolate or caramel sauce. Make sure not to rush the cooling process; letting them chill overnight will enhance the flavors.
