  • 0.5 cup all-purpose flour
  • 0.5 cup powdered sugar Extra for dusting before serving
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground cloves

Preparation

  • Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
  • Slice the Granny Smith apples into fry shapes.
  • In a bowl, mix the flour, powdered sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves together.
  • Dredge the apple slices in the flour mixture until coated.
  • Place the coated apple fries in the air fryer basket in a single layer.

Cooking

  • Cook for about 10-12 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through for even cooking.
  • Remove from air fryer and let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Serve warm, optionally with vanilla ice cream or caramel sauce. Dust with powdered sugar before serving. Best enjoyed fresh but can be stored in the refrigerator for up to a day.
