Preparation

  • Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture.
  • In a bowl, mix together the baking powder, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  • Toss the wings in the seasoning mixture until evenly coated.
  • Let the wings sit for five minutes and pat dry again.

Cooking

  • Preheat the air fryer for 3-5 minutes.
  • Place the wings in the fryer basket in a single layer, avoiding overcrowding.
  • Cook the wings at 400°F (200°C) for 22-25 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  • Check for desired crispiness and adjust cooking time if necessary.
  • If desired, drizzle a small amount of oil over the wings before the last few minutes of cooking.
