  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

  • 1/4 tsp onion powder

Preparation

  • In a mixing bowl, combine corn kernels, mozzarella cheese, and cream cheese.
  • In another bowl, mix together flour, cornmeal, baking powder, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  • Fold the dry ingredients into the corn and cheese mixture until well combined.

Cooking

  • Heat oil in a deep skillet over medium heat.
  • Drop spoonfuls of the mixture into the hot oil and fry until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes on each side.
  • Remove from oil and drain on paper towels.

Notes
