Crispy Chicken Burgers with Cheese and Fries Recipe

Ingredients
- 1 lb 450g ground chicken
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 2 large eggs
- 4 slices of cheese cheddar, Swiss, or mozzarella
- 4 hamburger buns
- 4 medium potatoes for fries
- 2 cups vegetable oil for frying
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp paprika
Instructions
Prepare the Fries:
- Start by washing and peeling the potatoes. Slice them into thin strips for crispy fries.
- Heat vegetable oil in a large pan or fryer to 350°F (175°C).
- Carefully place the fries in the hot oil and fry until golden brown and crispy. This should take about 5-7 minutes.
- Remove from the oil and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil. Season with salt and pepper while still hot.
Prepare the Chicken Patties:
- In a mixing bowl, combine the ground chicken, breadcrumbs, eggs, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Divide the mixture into four equal portions and shape each portion into a patty.
Cook the Chicken Patties:
- Heat a little oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Place the patties in the skillet and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side or until the patties are golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature should reach 165°F or 74°C).
- In the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheese on each patty to melt.
Assemble the Burgers:
- Toast the hamburger buns lightly in the same skillet or oven.
- Place the cooked chicken patty with melted cheese on the bottom half of each bun.
- Top with your favorite toppings such as lettuce, tomato, and pickles, and then cover with the top bun.
