Ingredients

  • 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • to taste salt and pepper

For Serving

  • as needed cooked rice or mashed potatoes

Preparation

  • Place the chicken breasts in the bottom of the crockpot.
  • In a separate bowl, mix together the cream of chicken soup, ranch seasoning mix, and chicken broth. Pour this creamy mixture over the chicken.
  • Season everything with salt and pepper to taste.

Cooking

  • Cover the crockpot and cook on low heat for 6 to 8 hours, or until the chicken is thoroughly cooked and tender.
  • Once the cooking time is up, shred the chicken directly in the gravy and serve it over rice or mashed potatoes.

Notes

Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days, or frozen for up to 2 months. Reheat while adding a splash of chicken broth if necessary.
