  • 1 package Cheddar pierogies Frozen or fresh, as per preference
  • 2 cups Creamy chicken broth Can use low-sodium broth
  • 1 lb Kielbasa Smoked kielbasa can add richer flavor
  • 1 cup Cheddar cheese Shredded, for topping
  • 1 medium Onion Chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic Minced
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Layer the cheddar pierogies evenly in the slow cooker.
  • Pour the creamy chicken broth over the top of the pierogies.
  • Slice the kielbasa and layer it on top of the pierogies.
  • Add the chopped onion and minced garlic for flavor.
  • Season with salt and pepper to suit your taste.

Cooking

  • Cover the slow cooker and cook on low for 4-6 hours, or until the pierogies are heated through and soft.
  • In the last 30 minutes of cooking, sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese on top and let it melt.

Serving

  • Serve hot and enjoy your tasty creation!

Notes

For added depth, consider using smoked kielbasa. You can add vegetables like spinach or bell peppers for extra nutrition. Make sure to taste and adjust your seasoning before serving for the best flavor.
