Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 can (24 oz) pasta sauce
  • 1 package (25 oz) frozen cheese ravioli
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Seasonings

  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Instructions

Preparation

  • In a skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until it’s nicely browned. Drain off any excess fat.
  • Stir in the pasta sauce, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning. Let it simmer for about 5 minutes.

Layering and Cooking

  • In a greased slow cooker, start by spreading a thin layer of the meat sauce at the bottom.
  • Place half of the frozen ravioli on top of the sauce.
  • Layer on half of the remaining meat sauce and half of each type of cheese.
  • Repeat the layers, finishing off with the rest of the cheese on top.
  • Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours or until heated through and the cheese is beautifully melted.

Serving

  • Serve hot and enjoy your delicious creation!

Notes

For a little extra flavor, try adding chopped vegetables like spinach or mushrooms to the beef mixture. Experiment with different cheeses, like provolone or gouda, for a twist on the classic taste. You can also use different types of ravioli, such as spinach and ricotta, or meat-filled ones.
