Preparation

  • In a medium saucepan, combine the Eagle Brand sweetened condensed milk, chocolate chips, butter, and vanilla extract.
  • Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until the chocolate is melted and the mixture is smooth.
  • Pour the fudge into a greased 8-inch square baking dish and spread evenly.
  • Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours until set.
  • Cut into squares and serve.

Notes

For presentation, serve the fudge on a plate or a lined box for gifts. Top with chopped nuts, sea salt, or a drizzle of melted white chocolate for a fancier touch. Pairs well with vanilla ice cream or coffee.
