- 1 ounce Midori melon liqueur (or another green liqueur, like sour apple schnapps)
- ½ ounce blue curacao (or another blue liqueur such as Hpnotiq)
- ½ ounce fresh lime juice (or substitute lemon juice or sour mix)
- 3 ounces pineapple juice
- 1 wedge fresh lemon or lime For rim garnish
- 1 tablespoon black salt or black sanding sugar For rim garnish
- Ice cubes For serving
Instructions
Preparation
- Run a wedge of lemon or lime around the rim of each glass, then dip the rims into black salt or sanding sugar until coated.
- Fill the glasses with ice, using either crushed ice or ice cubes.
Mixing
- In a cocktail shaker, mix together vodka, Midori, pineapple juice, lime juice, and blue curacao. Add a couple of ice cubes.
- Shake the mixture well until chilled and slightly frothy, about 20-30 seconds.
Serving
- Strain the mixture into the prepared rimmed glasses.
- Finish off with a black and white straw and any additional garnishes if desired.
- Serve immediately while cold and enjoy.
Notes
