Ingredients
  

Cake Ingredients

  • 4 pieces eggs (at room temperature) Ensure eggs are at room temperature for better mixing.
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup warm water
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 packet vanilla extract
  • 2 cups flour Sift before use.
  • 1 packet baking powder

Soaking and Cream Ingredients

  • 1 cup milk (for soaking)
  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar (optional, for soaking) Optional for added sweetness.
  • 2 packets whipped cream For topping and layering.
  • 2 cups cold milk (for whipped cream)

Fruits

  • 2 pieces bananas (sliced)
  • 8-10 pieces strawberries (chopped)
  • 1 handful blueberries or cherries Can also use peaches, kiwis, or pineapples.

Instructions
 

Baking the Cake

  • Preheat your oven to 340°F (170°C).
  • In a large bowl, beat the eggs and sugar together on high speed for 5–6 minutes until fluffy and white.
  • Gradually add the lukewarm water and vegetable oil, mixing well.
  • In a separate bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder, and vanilla.
  • Fold the dry mixture into the wet ingredients using a spatula.
  • Pour the batter into a 24 cm pan lined with parchment paper.
  • Bake for 30–35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Once baked, let the cake cool completely, then slice it horizontally into 3 layers.

Preparing the Whipped Cream

  • Combine the whipped cream packets with cold milk in a bowl.
  • Whip until it thickens slightly.
  • Chill in the refrigerator for about 10 minutes.

Assembling the Cake

  • Place the first cake layer on a serving stand and lightly moisten it with milk.
  • Spread a thin layer of whipped cream on top and add some chopped fruit.
  • Repeat this process for the second layer.
  • Place the final layer on top, and moisten it with milk.
  • Spread the remaining whipped cream over the entire surface and chill in the refrigerator for another 10 minutes.
  • Apply a second coat of whipped cream for a smooth finish and decorate with extra fruit or colorful sprinkles.

Notes

Ensure all your ingredients are at room temperature. Don't skip the chilling time for whipped cream. You can swap out fruits based on seasons. For a chocolate twist, add cocoa powder or chocolate sauce.
