Meatball Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese Use fresh for better flavor.
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs Can use gluten-free if needed.
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced Fresh garlic recommended.
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped Fresh parsley gives better flavor.
  • 1/4 cup milk

Sauce

  • 1 cup marinara sauce For serving.

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, minced garlic, egg, oregano, salt, pepper, parsley, and milk. Mix until well combined.
  • Form the mixture into meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter, and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Cooking

  • Bake for 18-20 minutes until cooked through and browned.

Serving

  • Serve with marinara sauce on the side.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days. Freeze for up to three months. Adjust seasonings to taste, and do not overmix the meatball mixture to keep them tender.
