Ingredients
  

Chicken and Marinade

  • 4 pieces Chicken pieces (thighs, drumsticks, or breasts)
  • 2 tablespoons Paprika For the dry rub
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder For the dry rub
  • 1 teaspoon Onion powder For the dry rub
  • 1 teaspoon Salt For the dry rub
  • 1 teaspoon Pepper For the dry rub
  • 1 cup Barbecue sauce For brushing on the chicken while grilling

Preparation

  • Apply the dry rub to the chicken pieces and let them marinate for at least 30 minutes.

Grilling

  • Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  • Grill the chicken for about 6-8 minutes on each side, until fully cooked.
  • During the last few minutes of grilling, brush barbecue sauce on the chicken.
  • Remove from heat and let it rest before serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, let the chicken marinate in the dry rub overnight. Keep the grill lid closed while cooking to maintain heat. Use a meat thermometer to ensure the chicken is fully cooked (165°F or 75°C). Experiment with different barbecue sauces for unique flavors.
