Main Ingredients

  • 4 slices thick white bread
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise Spread on one side of bread
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter Spread on the other side of the bread
  • 2 bananas sliced Layer on top of the peanut butter
  • Butter for grilling Use to grill the sandwiches

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Spread mayonnaise on one side of each slice of bread.
  • On the other side, spread peanut butter.
  • Layer banana slices on top of the peanut butter on two of the slices.
  • Top with the other two slices of bread, mayonnaise side up.

Grilling

  • Heat a skillet over medium heat and add butter.
  • Grill the sandwiches until golden and crispy on both sides, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  • Slice and serve warm.

Notes

Serve with a glass of milk or a cup of hot cocoa. You can also add a sprinkle of cinnamon or a drizzle of honey for extra flavor. Store leftovers in the refrigerator and consume within a day or two.
