Ingredients
  

Brownie Batter

  • 2/3 cup butter Melted
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 2/3 cup cocoa powder
  • 2 pieces eggs (cold) Cold eggs help maintain brownie texture
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour

Oreo Topping

  • 15 pieces Oreos Plus an extra 5 for topping

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F and line an 8×8 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  • In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter, oil, and both sugars together in 30-second intervals, mixing in between each interval.
  • Once fully melted, microwave for another minute and stir vigorously to ensure the sugar dissolves completely.
  • Whisk in the eggs one at a time, then add in the vanilla extract.
  • Add in the flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Fold everything together until combined.

Baking

  • Pour half of the batter into the lined baking pan and spread it evenly.
  • Place the Oreos in the center of the batter and top with the rest of the brownie batter, spreading it to cover the Oreos.
  • Crush the extra 5 Oreos and sprinkle them on top.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes.
  • Allow the brownies to cool completely on a wire rack before slicing.

Notes

Serve warm with vanilla ice cream or drizzle with chocolate or caramel sauce. Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days, refrigerate for up to a week, or freeze for up to 3 months.
