Ingredients
  

For the churro bites

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup water Use filtered water for best results.
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter Melted and measured.
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract For flavoring.
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon Can add more for extra flavor.
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt Enhances the flavor.
  • 1/2 cup sugar For rolling the churros.
  • as needed Cooking spray To coat the air fryer basket.

Preparation

  • In a saucepan, combine water, butter, and salt. Bring to a boil.
  • Stir in flour and vanilla extract until the mixture forms a ball.
  • Let it cool slightly, then add eggs one at a time until the dough is smooth.
  • Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  • Pipe small bites onto parchment paper.
  • Spray with cooking spray and air fry for 10-12 minutes until golden.
  • Roll in a mixture of sugar and cinnamon before serving.

Notes

These churro bites can be served warm with dips like chocolate sauce or caramel. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to two days, or freeze for longer storage. Reheat in the air fryer for best results.
