  • 1 lb lean ground beef Use lean ground beef for a healthier option.
  • 1/2 head green cabbage Thinly sliced.
  • 1 medium carrot Julienned.

Cooking Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil For sautéing.
  • 3 cloves garlic Minced.
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger Grated.
  • 2 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce Can be adjusted to taste.
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar Can be adjusted to taste.

Instructions
 

Cooking

  • Heat sesame oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  • Add garlic and ginger, and sauté until fragrant.
  • Add ground beef and cook until browned.
  • Stir in cabbage and carrot, and cook until vegetables are tender.
  • Add soy sauce and rice vinegar, stir well, and cook for an additional 2 minutes.
  • Serve hot.

Notes

Serve with brown rice or quinoa and garnish with sesame seeds or chopped green onions for added flavor.
