Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients

  • 1.5 cups 60% dark or higher chocolate About 270g, can substitute with milk chocolate if preferred
  • 0.75 cups THICK coconut yogurt or Greek-style yogurt Unsweetened vanilla yogurt works great
  • 1 pinch sea salt For enhancing flavor
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract Optional, for extra flavor
  • Chopped nuts, dried fruit, etc. Optional for extra flavor

Preparation

  • If you prefer sweeter fudge, consider using sweetened yogurt. Ensure the yogurt is very thick for the best results.
  • In a large bowl, add the yogurt and let it sit at room temperature for a few minutes until nearly at room temperature.
  • If your yogurt isn’t flavored, stir in a teaspoon of vanilla for extra flavor.
  • Line a small loaf pan or glass container with parchment paper and set aside.

Cooking

  • Melt the chocolate using a double boiler or a microwave. For the microwave, add the chocolate to a medium bowl and heat in 30-second increments, stirring well until completely smooth.
  • Once melted, pour the chocolate over the yogurt. Mix quickly with a spatula until well combined.
  • Quickly pour the mixture into the lined pan. Place in the freezer for a few hours until firm.

Serving

  • Once set, cut into pieces and sprinkle with flakey sea salt if desired.
  • Serve chilled straight from the freezer for a refreshing treat.

Notes

Store in an airtight container or freezer bag in the freezer for up to 2 months. Best kept in the freezer, as it may become too soft if stored in the fridge. Always ensure yogurt is thick for a smooth texture.
