Ingredients
  

For the Brownie Base

  • 1 box Brownie mix (typically 18.5 oz) Follow package instructions

For the Cheesecake Filling

  • 8 oz Cream cheese, softened Ensure cream cheese is softened for smooth mixing
  • 1 cup Granulated sugar
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup Cocoa powder

For the Toppings

  • 1 cup Hot fudge sauce, plus extra for drizzling
  • 1 cup Whipped cream, for topping
  • Chocolate shavings, for garnish

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Prepare the brownie base by following the instructions on the brownie mix package and pour the batter into a greased 9-inch springform pan.
  • Make the cheesecake filling by beating softened cream cheese with granulated sugar until smooth. Then add eggs, vanilla extract, and cocoa powder.
  • Pour the cheesecake mixture over the cooled brownie base in the springform pan.

Baking

  • Bake in a preheated oven for 30-35 minutes until the edges are set and the center is slightly jiggly.
  • Prepare the hot fudge topping while the cheesecake cools.

Assembly

  • After cooling, assemble the sundae toppings by drizzling hot fudge and adding whipped cream and chocolate shavings.

Notes

Store leftover cheesecake in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3-4 days. Freeze individual slices wrapped tightly for longer storage.
