Ingredients
  

For the filling

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened Make sure it is at room temperature for easier mixing.
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • ΒΌ tsp salt
  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream, cold Chill your mixing bowl and beaters for better results.

For the cups

  • 1 package Oreo cookies (14 oz) Reserve 24 mini Oreos for topping.
  • 24 pieces mini plastic cups with lids (2 oz size)

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Finely crush the Oreo cookies (excluding the mini Oreos for topping) in a food processor or by sealing them in a plastic bag and crushing with a rolling pin. Set aside.
  • In a mixing bowl, beat softened cream cheese until smooth.
  • Add powdered sugar, salt, and vanilla extract to the cream cheese and beat until well combined.
  • In a separate chilled bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
  • Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture in batches until the mixture is light and fluffy.
  • Fold in the crushed Oreo cookies until evenly distributed.
  • Spoon or pipe the mixture evenly into the mini dessert cups.
  • Top each dessert cup with one mini Oreo.
  • Cover with lids and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or until ready to serve.

Notes

Serve chilled. They can last up to 3 days in the fridge, but best enjoyed within 2 days for optimal flavor and texture. Feel free to add extra toppings like chocolate shavings or crushed Oreos for more texture and flavor.
