Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 2 large ripe mangoes, thinly sliced Use sweet and juicy mangoes for best flavor.
  • 2 packages graham crackers or plain biscuits
  • 2 packages whipped cream (powdered) For whipping cream.
  • 1.5 cups cold milk For whipping the cream.
  • 200 ml cream For a creamier texture.
  • 3 tablespoons powdered sugar Can be reduced for less sweetness.
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

Instructions

Preparation

  • Begin by whipping the whipped cream with the cold milk until it’s nice and fluffy.
  • In a separate bowl, mix together the cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla until it has softened up.
  • Gently combine the two mixtures with a spatula until you achieve a smooth and creamy texture.
  • Spread a thin layer of cream in the bottom of a rectangular baking dish.
  • Place a layer of biscuits over the cream.
  • Add another layer of cream on top of the biscuits.
  • Lay down the mango slices over the cream.
  • Repeat the layering process: cream β†’ biscuits β†’ cream β†’ mango.
  • Finish by topping with plenty of mango and, if you like, some crushed biscuits for extra crunch.
  • Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or even better, let it sit overnight.

Serving

  • Serve cold, and feel free to sprinkle some honey, chopped nuts, or coconut on top if desired.

Notes

To store, cover the dish tightly with plastic wrap or transfer it to an airtight container. Keep it in the refrigerator. Best enjoyed fresh, but can last about 3 to 5 days.
