For the Dough:
- 2 ¼ tsp 1 packet active dry yeast

- 3 ½ cups all-purpose flour

- 2 tbsp olive oil
- ½ cup chopped black olives

- 2 –3 cloves garlic minced
- 1 tsp dried Italian herbs or oregano/basil mix
- Sea salt for sprinkling

Activate the Yeast:
In a large bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and yeast. Stir and let sit for 5–10 minutes, until it becomes foamy.
Let It Rise:
Place dough in a greased bowl, cover with a kitchen towel or plastic wrap, and let rise for about 1 hour, or until doubled in size.
Shape the Breadsticks:
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
Punch down the dough and roll it out into a rectangle (about 12x9 inches). Slice into 12 strips using a knife or pizza cutter. Twist each strip slightly and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
