  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 0.75 cups milk (or buttermilk)
  • 0.75 cups hot water

Oreo Cream Filling

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 0.5 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 cups heavy cream, cold
  • 10 pieces Oreo cookies, crushed

Chocolate Drip

  • 1 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 0.5 cups heavy cream

Decoration

  • Whipped cream
  • Oreo cookies

Instructions

Chocolate Sponge

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line two 8-inch cake pans.
  • In a bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  • In another bowl, mix the sugar, oil, eggs, and vanilla.
  • Add the dry ingredients alternately with the milk.
  • Stir in the hot water until the batter becomes smooth and liquid.
  • Divide the batter evenly between the pans.
  • Bake for 30–35 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  • Let the cakes cool completely before assembling.

Oreo Cream Filling

  • Beat the cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth and creamy.
  • In another bowl, whip the heavy cream to stiff peaks.
  • Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture.
  • Fold in the crushed Oreo cookies.

Assembly

  • Place one cake layer on a serving plate.
  • Spread the Oreo cream filling evenly on top.
  • Place the second cake layer on top.

Chocolate Drip

  • Heat the heavy cream until hot (not boiling).
  • Pour it over the chocolate chips and stir until smooth and glossy.
  • Let it cool slightly, then pour it over the edges of the cake to create drips.

Decorate

  • Top the cake with whipped cream and Oreo cookies.
  • Refrigerate for 30 minutes before slicing.

Notes

Always let the cake cool completely before filling and dripping. If the ganache is too hot, it will run too fast. For clean slices, use a hot knife and wipe it between cuts.
