Peach Dump Cake Recipe

This easy peach dump cake is made with juicy peaches, buttery cake mix, and baked to golden perfection. With just a few ingredients and no mixing required, it's the perfect quick dessert for family dinners, potlucks, or cozy nights in.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cans 15 oz each sliced peaches in syrup (or use fresh peaches with 1/2 cup sugar and 1/2 cup juice)
  • 1 box 15.25 oz yellow cake mix
  • 1/2 cup 1 stick unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon optional
  • Optional toppings: whipped cream vanilla ice cream, caramel drizzle

Instructions
 

Step 1: Preheat Your Oven

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).

Step 2: Layer the Peaches

  • Pour the entire contents of both peach cans (including syrup) into your greased 9x13 baking dish. Spread evenly across the bottom.
  • Optional: Sprinkle a dash of cinnamon over the peaches for extra flavor.

Step 3: Add the Cake Mix

  • Evenly sprinkle the dry cake mix over the peaches—do not stir. Make sure the entire surface is covered.

Step 4: Drizzle the Butter

  • Slowly pour the melted butter evenly over the cake mix. Try to cover as much of the top as possible.

Step 5: Bake

  • Place in the preheated oven and bake for 40–45 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and bubbly.

Step 6: Cool and Serve

  • Let the cake cool slightly. Serve warm as-is, or top with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or whipped cream for extra indulgence.
