  • 1 cup Creamy peanut butter Use creamy commercial peanut butter for best results.
  • 1/2 cup Butter Adds richness and helps set the fudge.
  • 3 cups Powdered sugar Sifted to ensure smooth texture.
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract Enhances the overall flavor.

Optional add-ins

  • 1 pinch Salt For balance.
  • 1/4 cup Chopped peanuts For added texture.
  • 1/4 cup Chocolate drizzle For decoration.
  • 1 teaspoon Sea salt Optional sprinkle on top.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Line an 8×8-inch baking dish with parchment paper or aluminum foil and lightly grease with butter.
  • In a medium saucepan over medium heat, melt together the peanut butter and butter until smooth.
  • Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract.
  • Gradually sift in the powdered sugar while stirring until the mixture thickens and is smooth.
  • Transfer the mixture into the prepared pan and press it into an even layer.
  • Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2–3 hours or overnight until set.
  • Lift the fudge out of the pan using the parchment paper and cut into bite-sized squares.

Notes

For best results, use creamy peanut butter and allow sufficient chilling time. Sprinkle with sea salt for extra flavor, and feel free to experiment with mix-ins.
