Cookie Ingredients

  • 1 cup peanut butter Smooth or crunchy can be used.
  • 1 cup brown sugar Can substitute with white granulated sugar.
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 piece egg Room temperature for best results.
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup peanut butter chips Can substitute with chocolate chips.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a bowl, mix the peanut butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until creamy.
  • Add in the egg and vanilla extract, mixing well.
  • Stir in the baking soda and salt until fully combined.
  • Fold in the peanut butter chips.
  • Drop spoonfuls of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Baking

  • Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden.
  • Allow the cookies to cool on the sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

Cookies can be served warm or at room temperature. Store in an airtight container for about a week or freeze for up to three months.
