Preparation

  • Cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

Cooking

  • In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  • Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  • Add shrimp to the skillet and cook until they turn pink, about 2-3 minutes.
  • Season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes if using.
  • Toss cooked pasta with the shrimp and garlic mixture.
  • Garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat gently, adding a splash of olive oil if needed. You can replace shrimp with chicken or tofu for a different protein option. Try different types of pasta like whole wheat or gluten-free.
