  • 1 packet taco seasoning select your preferred spice level
  • 1 cup sour cream can be substituted with Greek yogurt for a healthier option
  • 1 cup salsa choose a mild or spicy variety based on preference
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese feel free to use a cheese blend if preferred
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes fresh diced tomatoes yield the best flavor

Instructions
 

Layering

  • In a serving dish, spread the refried beans as the first layer.
  • Mix the taco seasoning into the sour cream and spread it over the beans.
  • Layer the salsa on top of the sour cream.
  • Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the salsa.
  • Add the diced tomatoes as the final layer.

Notes

Serve with crispy tortilla chips for dipping. You can add some sliced jalapeƱos or olives for extra flavor. If you have leftovers, store it in the fridge covered with plastic wrap or in an airtight container for 2-3 days.
