Ingredients
  

  • 1 12–16 oz box oyster crackers or mini saltines
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil or canola oil
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning mix or 2 tbsp homemade
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp crushed red pepper flakes adjust to taste
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper optional, for extra heat
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika optional, for depth

Instructions
 

Step 1: Preheat Oven

  • Preheat your oven to 250°F (120°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone mat.

Step 2: Mix Seasoning

  • In a large bowl, whisk together the oil, ranch seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, red pepper flakes, cayenne (if using), and smoked paprika until fully combined.

Step 3: Coat the Crackers

  • Add the crackers to the bowl and gently toss until all the crackers are evenly coated in the spicy oil mixture.

Step 4: Bake the Crackers

  • Spread the crackers in an even layer on the prepared baking sheet. Bake for 15–20 minutes, stirring once halfway through, until the crackers are crisp and golden.

Step 5: Cool and Store

  • Let the crackers cool completely before serving. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 1 week.

  • Room Temperature: Up to 7 days in an airtight container
  • Freezer: Not recommended as they may lose crispness when thawed
