Seasoning Mixture

  • ½ cup avocado oil Can substitute with canola or vegetable oil if preferred.
  • 2 Tbsp ranch dip seasoning blend
  • 1 Tbsp crushed red pepper flakes Adjust to taste for spiciness.
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ¼ tsp dried dill
  • tsp cayenne pepper Adjust to taste for spiciness.

Preparation

  • In a bowl, whisk together the avocado oil, ranch seasoning, red pepper flakes, garlic powder, dried dill, and cayenne pepper until well combined.
  • Add the mini saltine crackers to a large zip-top bag. Pour in the seasoned oil mixture.
  • Seal the bag and gently massage it to coat the crackers evenly with the oil mixture.
  • Allow the crackers to sit for about 10 minutes to soak up all the delicious flavors.
  • Preheat your oven to 250°F (120°C). Spread the crackers in a single layer on a lined baking sheet.
  • Bake until crispy, about 20-25 minutes, stirring halfway through.

Notes

Store in an airtight container to keep crackers crunchy. They stay fresh for about a week at room temperature. Avoid refrigeration as it can make them soggy.
