Equipment

  • Knife and cutting board
  • Measuring cups
  • Fine mesh strainer (optional, for smoother texture)
  • Glasses for serving

Ingredients

  • 1 cup fresh or frozen strawberries hulled
  • 2 ripe bananas peeled and sliced
  • 1/2 cup cold water or coconut water for a tropical twist
  • 1/2 cup orange juice optional, for extra flavor
  • 1 –2 tsp honey or maple syrup optional, adjust to taste

Instructions

  • Prepare the fruit:
  • Wash the strawberries and remove the stems. Slice the bananas and place both fruits into the blender.
  • Add liquids:
  • Pour in the water or coconut water and orange juice if using. This helps with blending and adds flavor.
  • Sweeten if needed:
  • Add honey or maple syrup based on your sweetness preference.
  • Blend it up:
  • Blend on high for about 1 minute or until smooth and creamy. Add a few ice cubes if you want it extra cold.
  • Strain (optional):
  • If you prefer a smoother texture, pour the juice through a fine mesh strainer into a pitcher.
  • Serve immediately:
  • Pour into glasses and enjoy fresh! Garnish with a strawberry or banana slice on the rim for a pretty touch.

Notes

Tips for the Best Juice:

  • Use overripe bananas for natural sweetness and better flavor.
  • For a creamier version, replace water with almond or oat milk.
  • Want it tangy? Add a splash of lemon or lime juice.
